How to make Russian Shisha?

How to make Russian shisha in Dubai

Many people who used to smoke hookah in clubs, shisha bars, probably at least once wondered if it is possible to make such a delicious, flavorful and smoky hookah at home.

Our answer is, “Yes!”

And it’s much easier than it might seem at first glance. After watching a lot of youtube videos from hookah gurus on the topic: making russiam shisha at home, many come to the conclusion that it’s too long, complicated and better not to bother with it. Soaking tobacco before smoking, cutting tobacco, etc. really look intimidating to the eyes of amateurs.

Friends, I offer you a win-win method to score tobacco! This simple but proven method is what will become a hookah-making tutorial.

You will need:

  • Hookah (All models are presented in Hookah section, while the shaft, bulb, hose, bowl and other components you can buy in Accessories),
  • Hookah tobacco,
  • charcoal,
  • foil or a foil substitute.

Step 1 – the preparation of the hookah

In my opinion, the first and very important step of making waterpipe at home is a qualitative washing of the waterpipe. This is the only way to avoid mixing of flavors (past smokes and today’s tobacco), bitterness. Thoroughly wash not only the flask, the bowl, but also the shaft and the pipes. Special hookah brushes allow you to clean even the most inaccessible places.

When the “water procedures” are finished, you can safely fill the flask with water (or other liquid, it is at your discretion). It is important to fill the liquid so that the bottom of the shaft was about 2-2.5 cm in water.

Check if all parts of waterpipe are tightly connected to each other, and you can ignite the coals. For the maximum heat they should get a rich red color.

Step 2 – filling the bowl

Unpacking any pack of tobacco, you will see something like this:

For clogging you will need about 12-17 grams of tobacco (you can select the necessary amount “by eye”, guided by the fact that the standard weight of tobacco in small packs is 50 grams.

In order for the tobacco to give all its flavor and aroma, “fluff up” the tobacco, make it more “airy” and place it in the bowl.

IMPORTANT: Even lighting of all the tobacco is the key to making a good hookah!

Next, using a toothpick or any other thin object at hand, form a “well” in the tobacco:

  • The tobacco will warm up faster and evenly throughout the bowl;
  • The air will flow all over the bowl, through all the tobacco, providing a very light draw and plenty of smoke.

After filling the bowl, we cover it with foil, using a toothpick or any other object with a thin and sharp tip we make holes. It is optimal to make them with an indentation of 0.5 cm, evenly over the entire surface.

If you have a foil substitute, kalaud – ideal! Feel free to use them. It is important to remember that neither foil nor any foil substitute should come into contact with the tobacco, otherwise the hookah will be bitter. The ideal distance between the foil, caulaud and tobacco should be about 0.4-0.7 mm.

All that is left to do is to expose the foil or foil substitute with a glowing charcoal. Give the bong another 5-7 minutes, to “infuse” so that the coals give off heat and warm tobacco well.

As you see, nothing complicated! Have a nice smoke.
